Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
YEARS of EXPERIENCE:
- Overall 6-8 yrs. experience and minimum 4+ yrs. Experience in Power Bl and must have experience to implemented all features in reports.
Role and Responsibilities
- Business Intelligence Systems Tools (MSBI stack with Power Bl).
- Experience migrating other reporting model to Power Bl.
- Understanding of the infrastructure requirements of setting up Power Bl from scratch.
- Installing and configuring power Bl report server.
- Familiar with data model (Tabular/ Multi-Dimensional Models), Calculations, Conversions, Scheduling Data refreshes in Power Bl Desktop.
- Owns the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, interactive dashboards to drive key business decisions.
- Implementation of Row Level Security by defining various constraints for each defined ROLE and security features.
- Develop self-service models, data analytics using power Bl service.
- Experience in Managing Embed Codes.
- Extensively using joints and sub-queries for complex queries, which were involving multiple tables from
- Different databases. Analyzing data and re-mapping fields based on business requirements.
- Store procedures, User defined functions, Views, T-Sql scripting for complex business logic. Optimized the databases by creating various clustered, non-clustered indexes and index views. Using aggregate strategies to aggregate data, sorting and joining tables.
- Created a fragmentation report for heavily used tables, with information from a pivot script.
- Modified SPs and formulated basic coding and scripting to be utilized for reports within the organization
- Analyzed data models, data relationships, and dependencies for greatest optimization
- Designed and developed stored procedures, queries, and views necessary to support SSRS reports
- Knowledge of visual Design, PowerBI dashboard, and PowerBI tools
- Developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power B.I. Desktop.
- Adapt in developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements in Power BI Service
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- A University degree or College diploma in Computer Sciences or related major, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience Skills Competencies:
Exceptional interpersonal and communications (verbal and written) skills.
