Job Location: Medinipur
- Driving analytics for the Logistics function Create reports, prepare Logistics presentations and MIS dashboards as required by management as per defined timelines
- Derive and report insights into feasible cost optimization initiatives for the logistics department, in line with the strategies formulated by Group Logistics Head using data analysis and metrics (spend vs cost / budget vs actual / impact / cost benefit analysis) Keep abreast with and identify modern and efficient statistical analysis techniques required to deliver dynamic insights for the senior management
- Assist in driving various continuous improvement initiatives in the Logistics function across the organization Ensure confidentiality of raw data as well as final presentations in compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines
- Take initiatives to drive growth for DCBL and ensure sustained growth in line with long-term and short-term objectives of the organization Ensure initiation and sensitization of the employees towards digitization and automation of the processes Focus on utilization of advanced business analytics tools to derive key insights critical for the success of the organization 2
- Liaising Liaise with Regional MIS Head to ensure effective data capture at the grassroot level in order to facilitate accurate and timely reporting of the key findings to the Regional Logistics Head Present and communicate data to key stakeholders including Group/Regional Logistics Head Head, CEO and CFO related to on-going performance, gaps and further development of logistics framework in the organization
- Analyzing vendor, supplier, transporter effectiveness through Logistics MIS Collect, extract and analyze vendor, supplier and transporter data uploaded in the system in order to identify significant differences, relationships, and trends, as well as factors that could affect the results of research
- Report results of statistical analyses in the form of graphs, charts, and tables etc
- Derive meaningful insights from the MIS dashboards and suggest vendor, supplier and transporter improvement plans and to minimize lead delivery time and costs Institute norms,
- Process adherence in the function and build a culture of continuous process improvement & optimization using constant analysis, validation & tracking of KPI in logistics
- Self/ Team Development Review and monitor performance of team members and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs Recommend training as required for team s development
- Develop the team and update their knowledge base to cater the organization need Strategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees.
