Dedicated Tech Services, Inc. (DTS) is an award-winning IT consulting firm based in Columbus, OH. We now have an opening for a Jr. Business Analyst with UAT experience to work on a hybrid basis in Columbus, OH.
Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Jr. Business Analyst with UAT experience. Our client has a collaborative, friendly culture. You will:
- Participate in team activities, Design discussions, Stand up meetings and planning review with team.
- Perform data analysis.
- Create and update design documents, schedules, and project deliverables and provide detail description about workflows.
- Assist in creating change requests, workplan, expected test cases and results.
- Participate in meetings to continuously upgrade the Functional and technical expertise.
- Work with ODM staff, State Agencies, and external stakeholders such as Managed Care Organizations and contractors who build and run Medicaid-specific systems [Ohio Benefits, Ohio Medicaid Enterprise Systems (OMES)].
- Gather and analyze information from stakeholders, business owners, customers, and management for implementation of information technology solutions.
- Identify documents, analyze business requirements, and create business process flowcharts.
- Analyze, review, and recommend possible solutions to identified business problems through the implementation of technical solutions.
- Participate in design and requirement sessions, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) analysis, and other aspects of the System Development Lifecycle.
- Identify and document tasks, resources, and activities to align with the project schedule.
Required Skills and Experience:
· Work at the client office on a Hybrid basis two days a week.
· 5+ years of experience with UAT testing.
· 5+ years of experience with Medicaid, Medicare or other Health Insurance projects.
· 2+ years of experience working with Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
· Effective communication, presentation, & organizational skills.
· Familiar with Project Management methodologies like Waterfall and Agile.
· Ability to establish priorities & follow through on projects, paying close attention to detail with minimal supervision.
· BS/BA degree or combination of education and experience.

- Required excellent written and oral communication skills with technical and business teams.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Stay abreast of current technologies in area of IT and Healthcare trends as assigned.

- Ability to discern critical from minor problems and innovate new solutions.
