The Opportunity
Responsibilities
- Conduct consistent and robust analysis to identify key insights from transnational level sales data sourced from point of sale systems and other sources
- Create data visualizations, dashboards and reports using Tableau to communicate key performance indicators for internal and external reporting purposes
- Seek out and understand the core client and customer needs and assist in creating action plans to respond strategically to these opportunities in the markets we serve.
- Work with the corporate analytics department to execute analytics projects that support all revenue-generating efforts including pricing and price optimization processes and strategies.
- Provide support in the use of business intelligence, research, and industry trends to drive the brand and increase opportunities in the marketplace.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards that reflect fact-based findings and recommendations regarding the next steps resulting from analytics projects.
- Ideate on implications from research results that will drive business results.
- Assist with execution of data architecture and warehousing and gather feedback from site staff and clients resulting in best use for data with internal and external clients.
- Assist in the creation and rollout of value-added programs, platforms, initiatives, and processes to enhance and build client relationships.
- Work collaboratively with other sales and marketing leaders in sharing and utilizing best practices, systems, and processes leveraging resources where appropriate.
- Collaborate with data and analytics team to identify and execute projects that drive operational efficiency and excellence
- Assist the Director, Business Insights and Analytics in performing various ad-hoc projects leveraging data and analytics skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, engineering or other discipline; Master’s degree preferred
- 3 or more years of experience in business analytics, business intelligence or similar function, working in a high volume, fast-paced environment; preferably in hospitality or sports industries
- Proficiency in analytics and predictive tools such Advanced Excel, R, or similar
- Proficiency in data warehousing tool such as SQL
- Proficiency in data visualization tools; Tableau preferred
- Comfortable in building and presenting PowerPoint decks to stakeholders to communicate the story behind the numbers
- Proven broad business experience in the industry with broad experience in domestic and, business intelligence and marketing technology, revenue.
- Experience in setting sales strategic direction and annual and long-term planning to achieve business results.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
