We are looking for a Power BI Developer to join our BICC team who will be responsible for the overall design & deployment of Dashboard and its effective implementation. The individual will understand business problems and create solutions to address them leveraging Power BI Platform and other data sources. The individual is also responsible for effectively delivering the results to the relevant stakeholders

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 5 years professional experience, preferrably in Power BI
Strong communication, client facing.
Good experience in Business Analysis, Reporting and Dash boarding for enterprise-wide applications using Power BI and SQL Server.
Strong in collecting and documenting business requirements for delivering BI content to various Functional areas.
Data modelling, Creation, Report designing, Data investigation through Power BI.
Good experience in extracting data into Power BI Desktop from various sources such as Oracle, SQL server, MS EXCEL, Azure SQL and Synapse Analytics.
Expertise in working with both Import Query mode and Direct Query Mode. Worked on all types of transformations that are available in Power Query Editor.
Expertise in creating various visualizations like line charts, area charts, histograms, pie chart, donut chart, stacked bar chart, stacked column chart, cards, multi cards, tables into rich look.
Developed Power BI Reports, Custom Visuals, Group Creation and Effective Dashboards after gathering and translating End-User Requirements.
Good working knowledge on drill through reports, drill down reports, sub reports, Cascading Parameters.
Good experience in creating data models in Power BI and proficient knowledge of data warehousing methodologies and concepts, including star schemas, snowflake schema.
Experience in designing, developing, and delivering business intelligence solutions using SQL SSIS.

Roles and Responsibilities

Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights
Support stakeholders by providing accurate and high-quality solutions driven by impactful visualizations for decision making
Combine industry experience with an understanding of Power BI for creating best in class innovative solutions
Connect Microsoft Power BI Desktop to various data sources (Structured sources and APIs) and Azure Synapse
Good technical background in complete Power BI Infrastructure
Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models
Chart creation and data documentation explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and relations
Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics
Creating calculated measures and columns with advanced DAX functions
Publishing reports to Power BI service and setting up the necessary connection and scheduling
Managing Published reports through distribution of apps and monitoring usage/data refreshes/security access.
Ingesting data from a variety of data sources and performing required transformations
Utilizing the navigation features in Power BI (e.g., bookmarks, drill-through) to guide readers through a compelling data-driven story
Able to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI
Assures designs and project activities are in compliance with data policies, architecture, security and quality guidelines and standards
