What you’ll achieve
The person will be responsible for operating within a dynamic, fast-paced, scalable & agile IT development environment, which faces both internal and external customers. The person will be responsible for undertaking analysis, reporting metrics and pulling data to understand and help improve the performance of various on-going engineering development initiatives.
The candidate will have hands-on development capabilities, expertise in analytical problem-solving techniques and ability to code. He/she will have the experience of working on solving complex development problems and should be comfortable with CICD tools.
You will:
- Partner with business teams to understand, document and propose automated scripts to monitor performance of critical paths on different applications.
- Implement and maintain current automation scripts, as well as identify improvement opportunities.
- Perform basic descriptive analytics on scenarios performance over time.
- Conduct presentations and roadshows to publicize the developed solutions and enhance consumption.
- Effectively convey progress and auto manage each task, with minimal supervision.

Essential Requirements
- Graduate with 3+ years of industry experience
- Experience in develop automation for web applications
- Strong experience in: (1) Python and/or other popular programming languages; (2) Selenium Automation Framework; (3) Caching technologies
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL or other DB query languages
- Demonstrable proficiency in business communication, particularly using PowerPoint presentations etc.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience with Hadoop for simple data extraction and manipulation and/or advanced Excel (plotting, cube connected analysis, formulas)
- Basic proficiency in subjects like Statistics and/or Data Analysis and experience working in global teams – with colleagues and stakeholders across time zones
