What you’ll achieve
As a Data Scientist, you will be work toward developing a fundamentally new approach to how business generates meaning and value from data. Develop new methodologies and tools to enable advanced modeling and statistical analysis against petabyte-scale data sets.
You will:
- Work with marketing teams, executing on analytics projects aimed at generating demand for Dell’s services business
- Apply a broad range of techniques and theories from statistics, machine learning and business intelligence to deliver actionable business insights to prospects and customers based on large-scale data
- Work under limited supervision with internal and external teams to understand customer requirements and develop proposals
- Create procedures while performs end-to-end key steps involved in model development
- Execute preliminary data exploration, data preparation steps and variable/algorithm selection as well as model development/validation and scoring
- With guidance, develop and test algorithms efficacy for differing analytical use-cases
- Deliver results and presentations in a timely manner.
- Lead interactions with external customers to gather project requirements, provide status updates and share analytical insights

Essential Requirements
- Strong database knowledge and expertise in SQL.
- Possess appropriate mathematical knowledge and expertise with statistical analysis
- R/Python, Tableau, PowerBI, MS Office products
- Exposure to advanced statistical techniques like – Clustering, Random Forest, Ensemble modeling, K-Means, Regression techniques,
- Exposure to marketing concepts like – Customer loyalty, Targeting frameworks, Market mix modeling, Campaign ROI etc.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in handling business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Great communication/presentation skills
- Comfortable in a matrix organization structure
