Principal Software Engineer – IT
Dell business application software development, Platform Engineering & Operations, Quality Engineering and Operations, Environment management Services(EMS) team is hiring a Principal Software Engineer – to manage non production application environment related to Order management. Responsibilities will include coordinating EMS deliverable activities, daily stand ups, problem management and providing technical and process guidance, key thing is providing stakeholders with high availability test environments and assist improve speed to market. EMS team is an essential part of the Dell business application software development ecosystem – maintaining high availability application environment for non-production testing of software before rolling out to production. You will play a defining role in the continuing evolution of Dell business application software development and transformation.

What you’ll achieve
Dell’s Digital Enterprise Services organization, Product Master Data Management, Content & Search (PCS) team is hiring a Principal Software Engineer- to deliver on initiatives for our global cross segment customers. Responsibilities will include coordinating functional team activities, daily stand ups, managing requirements and providing technical and process guidance. PCS IT team is an essential part of the Dell Commerce Platform team – building solutions that allows our customers to deliver on Dell’s current and transformational initiatives. You will play a defining role in the continuing evolution of Dell’s Product Master Data Management, Content & Search transformation.
You will

Create and manage the plan for moving technical solutions to final client hand-off

Assemble and coordinate the internal and external teams to gain consensus on deliverables from each team

Collaboratively adapt existing and develop new project plans, processes and communication standards for the operations teams

Manage the formulation and ongoing tracking of each project

Assist with the development of reports, and the loading and configuration of demonstration data and systems

Essential Requirements:

Strong understanding of .Net full stack development and knowledge on python is added advantage

Desirable Requirements:

Minimum 9 years’ experience in Application development and maintenance .
