Job Title: IT Software Engineer (SDET)
Location: Bangalore

Our IT Software Engineer team turns business requirements into technology solutions by designing, coding and testing/debugging applications, as well as documenting procedures for use and constantly seeking quality improvements.

What you’ll achieve
As a Software Tester/SDET, you will extensively test the code that is been developed by our development team, using state of the art automation technology, support the health and maintenance of Dell Digital’s global infrastructure. You will collaborate with teams across the organization on ensuring the ongoing sustainability of our environment by enabling effective management of our asset and application lifecycle.
You will:
- Analyze users’ stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
- Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
- Design and develop automation scripts when needed
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Provide timely solutions
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
- Provide support and documentation

Essential Requirements
- Required Professional degree in a technical discipline with 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software testing and automation.
- Good understanding of testing concepts/process and hands-on manual testing experience on databases and Python & C# technologies
- 2+ years hands on knowledge in automation scripting.
- 2+ experience in manual testing.
- Familiar with Unit Test, Mock, Test Driven Development etc.
- Dotnet Nunit is an added advantage.
- Experience in white box, API testing using test tools or test framework is plus.
- Knowledge on .NET API testing is also required.
- Knowledge on PyTest, Pytext-cov, Tox, Jest
Desirable Requirements
- Experience with Flake8, Black, Pre-commit,Sonarlint, Majestic
