Software Engineer
The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. What you’ll achieve
As a Software Engineer, working as part of Dell’s IT Quality Engineering organization, you will be responsible for development and execution of automated test cases with shorter test cycles. Collaborate with all stakeholders in a project to ensure excellence in execution, development, and delivery and will be responsible for ensuring greater customer experience by improving the product quality.
You will:
- Work closely with Product Teams (Product Manager, Product Designer, Developer) to develop a deep understanding of the business requirements and provide feedback on requirement, test case design and execution
- Develop automated suites for execution, creating data-driven testswith reusable components, improve test code coverage, analyzing test results and reporting defects
- Debug existing code to fix errors/improve stability and framework maintenance.
- Play a Pivotal role in Dell Digital Transformation to Product Model

Essential Requirements
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in Automated software testing
- Excellent knowledge of C# and its ecosystems, OOPS concepts
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies and software development and test lifecycle principles
- Hands on experience of working with automation development tools: Selenium/VSTS/Specflow/GitLab
- Must have exposure to technologies/practices: REST API, CI-CD DevOps principles, BDD, Relative XPATH generation.
