About Business Unit
The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications, and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies, and the collaboration of internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs planning and estimation efforts at the task level
- Understanding the requirements
- Writing code as per the high-level design and adhering to product quality norms
- Logs defects, identify the course of action, and performs preliminary root cause analysis.
- Contribute to process improvements in the project
Essential Requirements :
- 2-4 years of experience in software development
- Programming and debugging skills in Python
- Experience in object-oriented development and multi-threaded applications.
- Proficient with Linux or Windows Operating systems
- Has worked in either System Management domains but not mandatory.
- Understanding of hardware and software interactions, and able to apply this understanding to resolve issues.
- Experience in test automation tools
Desired Requirements :
- Demonstrable experience in th continuous delivery like Continuous Integration tools, Code coverage tools, code guideline tools
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Good team player
