Test Principal Engineer

We’re a team of expert engineers responsible for the development of all test cases and test tools to ensure the functionality and compatibility of our products. We’re involved in the whole testing process from preparing test and diagnostic programs to recommending changes in testing equipment procedures and designing new testing equipment.

What you’ll achieve
As a Test Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

Works with internal teams and test partners to define comprehensive end-to-end test coverage

Works across test groups to establish end-to-end test planning and execution

Mentor Test Engineers on current technology, test methods and tools

Work with internal teams to improve effectiveness of automation

Identify opportunities to innovate product/process

Essential Requirements
-
Having exposure in a validation organisation validating Enterprise Server/Storage/Networking/System Management hardware/firmware and software products, with a minimum of 5 years in leading a team of no less than 10 members

Basic knowledge of Automation architecture/scripts (Python) and exposure in driving Automation Priorities for the Programs undertaken

Keen interest in Server technologies with exposure to external forums/events/tech-talks/paper presentations/Patents recognized by USPTO etc.

Should have 8-10 years of relevant experience with an Engineering Degree or equivalent from a premier educational institution like NIT or equivalent
Desirable Requirements

Having experience in Networking basics (CCNA, Switches, Routers) and Storage (RAID technologies)
-
Experience across wide a range of Operating System platforms (Windows, Linux, ESXi)
