Business Intelligence Advisor

What you’ll achieve
As a Business Intelligence Advisor, you will evaluate business data to produce meaningful insights and metrics, identifying trends that improve business performance. You will encourage best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization, and as a trusted advisor to the business you will also end users to determine information requirements.
You will:

Analyze business data including trends and variances from goals

Collect business requirements to produce meaningful metrics, trends, and insights that improve business performance

Design, develop, and implement automated dashboards and reports to facilitate data review and analysis. Proactively analyze trends, causes, and variances
-
Champion process improvements, best practices, and knowledge sharing related to BI, analytics, and data integration capabilities. Maintain databases, cleansing and validating data as needed

Develop database logic to extract, transform, and load required information for reporting. Create and distribute both routine and complex ad-hoc reports

Essential Requirements
-
5+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 3+ yrs. with a master’s degree or a Ph.D. with no experience or equivalent.. Ability to collaborate in a team environment with proven expertise in reporting

Strong familiarity with BI visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). Adept at SQL queries, SSIS packages, and scheduling

Adept at data modeling, SSAS models, and data segmentation
-
Knowledge of data-related languages like SQL, Python, and R. Ability to visualize and leverage data to communicate clearly via storytelling with data

Strong solution design and change management experience. Advanced business acumen
Desirable Requirements

Proven experience in similar roles

Familiarity with Agile principles and/or methodology
