Principal Data Engineer – AI/ML (Remote-United States)

What you’ll achieve

As a Principal Data Engineer, you will be part of an Agile team building data-driven AI-powered products and improvements for a changing world. — all with the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships.

You will:

• Build and administer databases, lakes, warehouses and pipelines using SQL server, Hadoop, Python, Airflow, and Kafka
• Work closely with product owners, data scientists, designers and QA engineers in a joint effort to build state-of-the-art Software products including AI/ML
• Own the quality of data and engineering solutions

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years industry experience or equivalent skill, must include experience building ETL pipelines
• Proficiency with SQL and Transact-SQL
• Working experience with Python and NoSQL DBs
• Experience with MS SQL Server, SSIS and building ETL pipelines
• Strong skills in DB administration, indexing and performance tuning
• Excellent at problem solving

Desirable Requirements

• Undergrad or Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field
• Familiarity with Hadoop, Sqoop jobs, Airflow and Python
