Principal Engineer, Service Delivery(I8)

What you’ll achieve
As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will provide world-class delivery support to our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our customers’ priorities and initiatives and becoming a trusted advisor that avoids customer impact and facilitates continuous improvement. You will identify potential sales and growth opportunities and will partner with key stakeholders to maximize these prospects.
You will:
- As a SME will be front ending build, implementation, and operations of end-to-end network infrastructure across multiple data center environments. Supported network infrastructure for all customer-facing product offerings for external customers.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs
- Proficient in working directly with highly technical customers and managing customer expectations.
- Stays current on technical specifications for hardware/software requirements of Dell Technologies and industry products through professional associations, trade journals, networking and associated training and seminars. Actively works to educate others on potential problems and resolutions.

Essential Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Software Defined Networking such as Vmware NSX-V and NSX-T is required.
- 6+ Years’ experience working with VMware vSphere, ESXi, VSAN is preferred.
- Should have a good understanding of vSphere architecture, components and configuration elements.
- Broad understanding of converged/hyperconverged infrastructures, scale-out and scale-up architectures is highly desirable
Desirable requirements:
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) preferred
- EMCSA, EMCTA Storage Certifications preferred
- ITIL v3 Foundation preferred
