Job purpose:
This position requires supporting application users both from a technical and functional perspective in a second-tier support environment. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to GA (Global Advantage) Suite of tools by liaising with various stakeholders. This position requires significant customer contact and you must possess excellent communication, consulting, and analytical skills to effectively manage client expectations. You should be able to function in a close team environment and communicate effectively within the team. A high level of attention to detail, the ability to execute and deliver project deliverables on budget and on time, a solution driven mindset, problem solving skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment are critical for success in the role.
Key job responsibilities:
- Design, develop and improve existing reports and dashboards using QlikView and QlikSense.
- Gather and understand Business requirements, present data and results in the most insightful way thru visualization to improve key business outcomes.
- Troubleshoot issues which relates to the existing QlikView & QlikSense Dashboards.
- Assume operational ownership of process relating to QlikView & QlikSense application maintenance, e.g. manage QlikView Management Console etc
- Perform data modelling at Qlik Dashboards level.
- Capability to work on Qlik alternate states
- Ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities in line with client needs and architectural requirements
- Strong knowledge on Qlik set expressions will be an added advantage
- Perform project management as needed.
- Query backend database to debug issues and communicate to the stakeholders.
- Coordinate with technical team members to evaluate issues, assess resolution options and associated feasibility, and determine desired technical solution(s) that address the issue
- Coordinate with functional team members to ensure a thorough understanding of business needs and desired business outcomes that each technical solution is meant to enable
- Quickly escalate issues, risks and resolution recommendations to technical leads for review and acceptance, and to other teammates working on applicable issues or related risks
- Evaluate problems of the clients and provide logical solutions that address the root cause
- Demonstrate capability of handling high work pressure during peak seasons
Key skills required:
- At least 3 – 4 years of experience in Qlik application design and development.
- Should have working knowledge in analyzing & troubleshooting UI related components on the Qlik Dashboards including Qlik Extensions.
- Nice to have some hands-on experience in architecture relating to Qlik Tools.
- Problem solving and solid analytical skills
- High level of attention to detail, ability to execute and deliver project deliverables on budget and on time, and multi-task in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to integrate rapidly with the existing team
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral – confident dealing with all levels of clients, both internally and externally
- Good interpersonal, organizational skills
- Strong commitment to client service excellence
Work Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM || 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
