Work you’ll do
- Lead major cross functional data and reporting projects across the shared services organization
- Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders
- Partner with technical teams to drive environmental or data sourcing changes
- Facilitate leadership discussions to define and build consensus on key performance indicators that will measure the effectiveness of business strategies and processes.
- Negotiate project scope in a way that balances costs, benefits, technical feasibility, timeline, and resource availability
- Architect clean, maintainable data models to support quick and efficient analysis on complex business questions
- Define and drive requirements for leadership reporting, rollout, and post-rollout validation
- Deliver and present insights that address areas of business value and opportunities for improvement that align with the business strategy.
- Mentor analysts on SQL and Tableau best practices
The team
Global CoRe provides seven fundamental services to Deloitte around the world: knowledge services, creative services, contact center, data management assessment services, data protection, procurement, and real estate. We develop new and innovative ways to improve how these services are delivered across the organization, leveraging our global scope and strength to serve our organization within and across borders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, Computer Science preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in business intelligence / visual analytics development
- 8+ years work experience
- Intermediate/advanced SQL skills, comfortable manipulating/merging large datasets directly in the database (Complex Joins, Sub-Queries)
- Expert knowledge of visualization tools (Tableau required) and techniques
- High proficiency with MS Office products particularly Excel
- Ability to handle multiple high priority requests independently
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience leading projects
