Dematic has a great opportunity for a rising junior or senior to join their R&D Systems & Software operations team. This position will be part of the Global Product Solutions Business Operations organization focusing on Systems & Software Research & Development initiatives. The Systems & Software teams supports both new product developments and sustaining projects. In this role there will be opportunity for cross functional collaboration across the entire global R&D team and other internal business functions. In this role the Operations Analyst intern will report directly to the operations manager.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $ 53,000 – 113,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
- Supporting initiatives to align with the $60+ million-dollar R&D budget to active projects
- Utilize business tools (Power BI, Excel, Power Queries) to create dashboards and ad hoc or refreshable reports to address current business problems or to streamline processes
- Create and run basic SQL queries to extract data
- Support the Operations team with querying data and ad hoc analytical tasks
- Contribute to continuous improvement & process excellence opportunities
- Integral part of R&D operations team
- Manage and report out on key performance indicator (KPI) metrics
- Identifies, documents, and works to mitigate business impact risks using problem-solving skills
What We are Looking For:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field from an accredited university
- GPA 3.0 or higher
- Proficient in primary Microsoft Office products; MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint
- Preferred experience with dashboard development software and SQL
- Excellent communication skills- written and verbal
- Ability to work well within in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-starter who will take initiative to identified issues and pursue resolutions
- Detail orientated
