Role Description
The Data Analyst within the Change & Transformation team plays a significant role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time. He/she will focus on design, development, testing and implementation of data analytics workstream and will primarily be responsible for contributing and co-ordinating solution delivery with internal customer base and cross functional application leads ensuring overall data quality and efficiency associated with Analytical and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. Make recommendations on the methods and ways in which a company obtains and analyses data to improve quality and the efficiency of data systems.

Your key responsibilities
- Designing and maintaining data systems and databases including fixing coding errors and other data-related problems.
- Mining data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing said data in a format that can be easily read by either human or machine.
- Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
- Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
- Collaborating with business leaders and technology teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend automation feasibility.
- Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
- Independently build complex Alteryx workflows and Tableau dashboards.
- Report delivery status, issues, and dependencies to lead with possible options to tackle.
Your skills and experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience in development of reporting packages, analytics, and BI solutions.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and proven track record of turning large amounts of multifaceted data into meaningful information.
- Experience in designing, developing, and implementing database solutions is a must.
- Advanced knowledge and hands on experience working with SQL, Python/R, Alteryx & visualization tools like Qlik / Tableau.
- Deep experience in data modelling, data analysis and relational database design.
- Party Reference Data domain expertise is mandatory
- Experience in Data Quality projects using any ETL tools
- Ability to identify business and technical impacts of user requirements while producing the reporting solutions.
- Good understanding of basic statistical and data mining approaches and terms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as Data Analysts do communicate with the wider business
- Accuracy and attention to detail, curious to explore different perspectives.
- An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving.
- Team-working skills.
- Certification in Scrum developer/Alteryx/Tableau or similar is good to have.
