Role Description

The Embedded Risk Team is part of the CSO organization and located within the CSO Third Party, Regulatory, Risk & External Engagement and CISO EMEA & Germany team. The primary objective is to drive the risk and control agenda which translates in assisting, facilitating, managing, and monitoring all aspects of information security risks. This includes internal and statutory Audit coordination, Findings Management support and Risk Reporting. The ERT is working together with all CSO divisions on a day-to-day basis.

The Information Security Analyst is responsible for supporting the execution of the Information Security strategy. The Information Security Analyst provides data and analysis to measure the effectiveness of Information Security controls across group wide products and services. The Information Security Analyst identifies and evaluates potential areas of Information Security threats by assessing the probability and impact, and facilitates feedback for mitigation.

CSO ERT is responsible to govern the CSO risk portfolio to drive Information Security Strategy and reduce Information Security risk at risk appetite. CSO ERT is working with Finding Owners, Finding Owner delegates, Risk Leads, DCRO Central Approval Function, Group Audit and Statutory Auditor to review the CSO Finding portfolio and ensure the target of no overdue findings (including internal, external, regulatory, and self identified findings)

The main responsibilities are:

  • governing a subset of findings within CSO from end to end (creation until closure)
  • supporting the identification of appropriate finding/action owners within the Chief Security Office
  • providing guidance to Finding & Action Owners and Risk Leads regarding all Finding life cycle events affecting the Chief Security Office
  • working closely with all teams within the Chief Security Office to understand any risk which could result in raising Self-Identified Issues
  • provide proper risk reporting based on GFMS for identifying any analyzing findings that need to be remediated
  • communicate with all Chief Security Office functions, Divisional Control & Regulatory Office, Non-Financial Risk Management, and Group Audit, on an operational level to support effective tracking and reporting of all findings as well as timely escalation if necessary
  • advise and assess individual management action plans for quality, prior to submission
  • Engages with finding owners and functional risk leads to track their finding status and provide advisory/support to ensure timely closure

Your skills and experience

  • 1 – 2 years of IT risk management/remediation experience working with audit, compliance, operational risk, regulatory, and/or control functions
  • understanding of audit/compliance, risk management Information Security frameworks and standards
  • Excellent team worker, able to work in virtual global teams in a matrix organization
  • Excellent skills to balance priorities and deliver assignments with superior quality and with limited supervision
  • Experience with analyzing data, detecting errors, determining root cause, challenging data anomalies and establishing trends to facilitate planning for risk remediation
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills to develop relationships with stakeholders to manage conflicting situations
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the importance of timely escalation
  • Experience and advanced knowledge in MS Office especially Excel
  • Good presentation skills
  • Experience in business and IT processes
  • Fluent in English (written/verbal)
