Job Title: Lead Business Functional Analyst
Location: Pune
We are looking for the Experienced Securities Settlement Business Functional Analyst is responsible for ensuring requirements are captured, analyzing the impact of changes and supporting the business throughout the implementation process. The Resource will be part of Reg and Cross product Technology India team and provide business analysis for a range of projects, working closely with Project Managers and Run The Bank (Operations) & Application Services (IT) counterparts.

Your key responsibilities :
Responsibilities include the following:-
- Fixed income Bond Settlements Subject Matter Expert (SME), capable of confidently advising on securities settlement issues which arise during business analysis.
- Identify business and settlement needs/requirements and assess impact on securities settlement requirements.
- Collate business and functional requirements from stakeholders and end-users
- Translate requirements into technical specifications and work with development teams to build robust, scalable, supportable solutions
- Collaborate with end users and development teams to formulate test strategy including test cases
- Participate in design reviews, including providing feedback on solution architecture and design issues
- Contribute to Level 2 and 3 support, including problem and root cause analysis.
- Assist Project Managers in liaising with Operations & Consumers to clearly define the details of Instrument Reference Data requirements
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) if required
- Ensure adherence to Change Control management process
Your skills and experience:
- Excellent hands-on experience/knowledge on Fixed income bonds settlement process (Bonds, Repo)
- Experience in post trade processing (matching, settlements and sub-ledger functions )
- Experience on Trade confirmation reports
- Experience on SWIFT messages formats
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with exposure to senior stakeholders desired
- Good understanding of static data (Security, counterparty and product)
- Strong understanding of operational processes around Settlements, associated challenges and issues.
- Strong SQL skills, ability to create Data Flow Diagrams and Entity Relationship Modeling.
- Excellent Business Analysis delivery track record, with experience of working on multiple projects in multi-disciplined teams, gained within the Financial Markets industry
- Ability to communicate clearly and maintain healthy relationships across cross-functional teams
- Advanced English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent skills in preparing business analysis documents i.e requirements and specification documentation e.g. Functional Requirements Documents
- Excellent skills in analyzing documentation
- Excellent business analysis skills – both from an analytical and communication perspective
- Sufficient knowledge of IT development and delivery practices and approaches
- Ability to work to set deadlines and yet remain flexible if requirements change.
- Understand the importance of customer focus and meeting customer needs through logical, investigative and innovative approach to problem solving.
