Roles
1. Warehouse Solution Design : As part of warehouse Solution Design Team, collaboratively work with internal and external stakeholders to support Business Growth impacting both Top Line and Bottom Line for the organization through with new customer acquisition, existing customer renewal, operational efficiency improvement via re-engineering, automation & digitalization
Responsibilities
Understand various business functions of DSC with focus on Warehouse Operations/IT/Solutions/ Real Estate/ BD •Liaise with DHL customers and business development staff to understand customer supply chain requirements •Provide analysis and design support in the pursuit of new business, operational implementations, re-engineering initiatives & automation to improve operational efficiencies •Understand warehouse operations/ process/ design/ layout/ throughput/ Material & System Flow across various verticals (Retail, Ecommerce, Technology, Life Sciences, Auto, E&M) •Understand Customer Requirement, detailing questionnaire , data collection across supply chain to enable solution design •Develop effective customer proposal presentation detailing both technical and commercial areas using warehousing models & tools as per DSC standards •Documentation as per DSC SD compliance requirement across the life cycle of a project •Utilize appropriate software tools for designing warehouse solution •Gain knowledge on vendors, assets, operators, MHE, Costs, and all other information used in developing Solutions •Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and local legal obligations •Ensure appropriate safety behaviors and processes are followed
2. Transport Solution Design : As part of the Corporate Solution Design team -Transportation, work within clear guidelines to help achieve defined outcomes based on the customer requirements and commercial proposal.
Responsibilties
Understand various business functions of DSC with special emphasis on Transportation Operations/IT/Solutions
Awareness of Transportation Business lines and industry
Customer Requirement understanding , data collection and understanding of the of assigned project
Develop effective customer presentation of the appropriate solutions as part of the pursuit teams
Understanding of current Transport Operations and IT landscape
Gain knowledge on vendors, assets, operators, MHE, Costs, and all other information used in developing Solutions
Liaise with DHL customers and business development staff to understand customer supply chain requirements
Provide analysis and design support in the pursuit of new business, operational implementations and re-engineering initiatives
Utilize appropriate software tools for developing, evaluating and selecting appropriate solution options
Clearly outline solutions in appropriate formats for presentation to customers
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and local legal obligations
Ensure appropriate safety behaviors and processes are followed.
