Responsibilities:
1. Process & Operating Model Standardization: Assessment, Re-engineering, and Transformation of Order-to-Cash processes
2. Process Design: Design end-to-end processes, in collaboration with Service Delivery, Markets, Technology and other customers.
3. Cash Metrics: Identify, lead and support initiatives that are critical to improving Cash and Debtors performance, e.g., collections terms optimization, DSO, etc.
4. Technology Integration: Evaluation, Selection, Design & Implementation, and Optimization of order-to-cash technologies, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other relevant software, to improve automation and data accuracy.
5. Project/Program management: Lead or represent in critical order to cash transformation project. Ensure that support is provided, key challenges are highlighted, and all project delivery timelines are met.
6. Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency of the order-to-cash process. Implement improvements based on data analysis.
7. Customer Experience: Collaborate with sales, finance, and Supply teams to work on initiatives to improve Customer experience.
8. Training and Development: Identify and drive training and development opportunities for the order-to-cash team to improve their skills and keep them abreast of industry standard methodologies.
9. Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement and Quality initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the order-to-cash function.
10. Collaboration on Interpersonal Initiatives: Work with Service Delivery, Data, Digital, Market and other Finance Organizations to collectively drive success in organizational initiatives.
Qualifications and skills:
1. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certifications can be beneficial.
2. Transformation and Service Delivery Experience in order-to-cash processes, order management, credit management, collections, cash applications, deductions and disputes management, and other related areas.
3. Experience having led small to moderate (direct or indirect) and delivered outcomes – performance and business outcomes.
4. Extensive experience in market / customer interactions
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data-driven insights to optimize processes.
6. Project management and LSS certification can be added advantages.
7. Superb communication and social skills to collaborate optimally with multi-functional teams, customers, and senior management.
8. Tried leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team toward achieving interpersonal goals.
9. Familiarity with relevant order-to-cash technologies including but not limited to SAP AR, SAP SD, SAP FSCM, Salesforce, High Radius, RPA, Workflow Solutions, etc.
10. Experience in having implemented Organisational Change w.r.t. transformation initiatives.
Business experience in system implementation across the SDLC – business analysis, design, testing, hyper-care, training & documentation, and organisational change
11. Knowledge of upstream Sales Execution processes is key.
