D&T plays a critical role in enabling Diageo’s digital agenda through delivering our strategic priorities in many areas, including E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Demand Sensing and Manufacturing Optimisation.
The Application Support Lead role sits within the Customer Product Line Run team and the aim is to enable greater stability and security through a structured and consistent approach to delivering IT operations. The D&T Run organisation is responsible for running a resilient and secure technology landscape at agreed service levels, at lowest cost, securely and compliantly, while improving performance.
This role will be focused on all operational support activities for Diageo’s Customer application services with a focus on majorly Salesforce platforms.
As Diageo has moved towards providing users with Digital Marketing services to drive a more ‘Digital customer experience’ and improving productivity globally, this has driven the requirement for the need to have a dedicated operations team to support these solutions. This role is a part of the team responsible to ensure highest 24 hour/7day critical system availability.

- Responsible for tasks including internal housekeeping, documentation and analysis
- Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement, problem resolution and workflow improvements
- Lead day-to-day break-fixes, root cause analysis, build efficient solution improvements. You will be the go-to person for all engagement tool downtime or real-time problems

Purpose of Role
- For the Diageo Digital and Technology team, security comes first. The BAU lead role is critical for ensuring that the platform meets Diageo technology, data privacy and ITGC standards
- To act as a single point of contact liaising between the vendors and Diageo internal teams to ensure smooth and streamlined operations

- Execution of all the pre-defined Diageo security and compliance controls e.g., vulnerability management/pen testing management, change/patch release management etc.
