Description: Position Overview
The Senior Web Analytics Developer is responsible for the implementation and support of Business Intelligence Web Analytics solutions.
Responsibilities
Must be able to
Support Business Analytics, Technical Analytics, Database and Data Science in the application of data collected from the Website.
Develop, Implement and Maintain an architecture for the data collected on Digi-Key websites
Develop, Implement and Maintain an API to support the tagging of web pages using the Tealium tag management tool.
Provide guidance in the development of Tagging Specifications detailing the requirements for specific web pages for various development teams. This includes page load, and any other events that need to be tagged and the tagging method used
Ensure the day-to-day reliability of tagging across the site
Maintain tagging integrity in tag management system (3rd party changes, routine maintenance, etc)
Maintain the web analytics platform
Support managing Consent and Privacy for all of the Digi-Key websites
Maintain tagging related documentation (instructions, guidelines, custom configurations, etc)
Familiar with Agile development framework (Scrum, Kanban, etc)
Communicate with non-technical individuals to explain technical solutions
Demonstrating proven behavioral skills, including being a team player, sound thinking and judgment, achieving results, relating to people, managing work effectively, and leading by example
Demonstrate competence in core leadership skills, including leading people, critical/strategic thinking and judgment, business acumen, achieving results, relating to people, managing work effectively, and leading by example

Skills Required: Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience Minimum/Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years information technology experience
Additional 8 years of relevant experience may be considered for the degree
Documented experience with specific technologies
- Google Analytics Advanced
- Big Query Intermediate
- Data Studio Basic
- Tealium Tag Manager – Advanced (would be ideal, but may be difficult to find)
- Javascript Intermediate (If there’s no skill in Tealium, this would be important to understand and learn the Tealium parts)
- BI Visualization Tools – Intermediate
- Microstrategy/Tableau
Must be detail Orientated
