Job Description
TITLE: Lead Data Science Analyst
DUTIES: Discover Products Inc. seeks Lead Data Science Analyst in Riverwoods, IL to work closely with management to execute analytical initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Information Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing statistical methods, techniques, formulas, and tests to build call volume forecasting solutions; writing algorithms to enable data processing and diagnosis; utilizing statistics, multi-variable calculus, and linear algebra techniques, including time series forecasting models such as ARIMA, ARIMAX, and Prophet; and performing data pre-processing and ad hoc analysis, tracking metric performance on dashboards, and building machine learning models using cloud-based Tableau and Python environment. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in one of the above listed fields and two (2) years of experience in the above listed skills.
