Job Description
The Disney Streaming Subscriber Analytics team is responsible for the measurement and analysis of subscriber growth across the Disney Streaming portfolio, including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, Star+. We are seeking a Senior Operational Analyst to join the Executive Reporting Operations function within the team. The remit of this role is to ensure seamless delivery of subscriber data to executives across Disney Streaming, Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution, and The Walt Disney Company.
In collaboration with groups including Data Governance, Business Intelligence & Reporting, Business Operations, Data Engineering, and Finance, this role will contribute to the development and execution of strong operational and communication processes that enable Subscriber Analytics to support executive reporting needs. The ideal candidate will have acute attention to detail, a strong sense of accountability, excellent collaboration skills, and extensive hands-on experience with reporting and communicating data.
What You’ll Do

Manage intake, processing, and handoff of files from internal teams to data engineering to support executive reporting requirements

Manage and validate configuration of reporting labels and other key data dimensions for upcoming partnerships

Develop strong knowledge of subscriber balances and the technical infrastructure that underlies executive subscriber reports

Contribute to documentation that contextualizes our complex subscriber data

In collaboration with Business Operations and Analytical Engineering, track timelines and manage intake of technical requirements related to reporting on key business events and partner launches

Develop business-facing documentation to summarize changes in reporting capabilities related to key business events and partner launches

Perform weekly validations to ensure accuracy of data published in executive reports

Develop and foster relationships with business stakeholders and data colleagues, serving as a cross-team facilitator to resolve questions on subscriber reporting

Act as an escalation point for questions related to executive reports; this role requires up to 3 days of after-hours or weekend on-call availability each quarter
What To Bring

4+ years experience in an analytical, technical, or business operations role

2+ years of SQL

High familiarity with data platforms and applications such as Snowflake, Databricks
-
High familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Thoughtspot
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment and navigating a matrixed organization structure

Ability to manage multiple workstreams with demonstrated ability to organize work effectively and deliver against deadlines
Nice-To-Haves

Experience in the streaming media industry or other subscription-based service

Experience in the technology industry, knowledge of data products

Experience working with project management tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Airtable, Asana
