Job Location: Gurgaon
- Cvent Oracle Financials system IT Department is looking to hire Business Analyst, Financial Systems and is currently accepting applications.
- The selected incumbent will typically focus on Oracle ERP Financial modules as a functional Analyst.
- The person is expected to provide production support to business owners in meeting their operational needs, adapting to the ongoing and changing environment, reengineering business processes to improve efficiency, implementing new initiatives and staying abreast of systemic enhancements and improvements to the Cvent s Financial systems.
What you will be doing:
- Financials Business Analyst will be responsible to support the business group on various Support/Enhancements and Projects.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with various stakeholders in the project team to ensure smooth flow and delivery of the project and its deliverables.
- The person is expected to understand end-to-end business processes, work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to gather requirements & work with technical subject matter experts.
- Creating new and maintain existing application configurations.
- Manage integration testing and system testing of new development work as assigned.
- Help design and implement best practices
What you will need for this position:
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle R12 E-Business suite with in-depth understanding of Finance business process flows
- Experience in configuring Oracle Modules. Modules include – General Ledger, Payables/Payments, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Revenue Management, Sub Ledger Accounting and EBTax.
- Knowledge of India TDS functionality a plus
- Experience in O2C and P2P cycle would be plus
- Strong overall functional knowledge of Oracle Applications with a good technical understanding of the Oracle tables
- Knowledge of accounting and financial concepts
- Understanding of all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle including Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, and Support
- Experience in systems analysis and requirements gathering
- Experience in writing Functional Specification documents and high-level technical specifications
- Experience in creating test cases and performing end to end testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic SQL and Oracle tables knowledge
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly motivated, results oriented, with the ability to drive continuous improvement
- Able to collaborate with all levels of the organization
- EBS version 12.1.3 and 12.2, Oracle Financial Core (GL, AR, AP, IBY, CE, FA, IEX) implementation and support
- Month and Year End Closing Support
- Creating, managing and helping to resolve Oracle Service Requests (SRs)
- User Administration, module setups, personalization
- Experience in Advance Collections Module and AME setups a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work in small team environments
