Job Location: Gurgaon/Gurugram
- As a part of Business Analytics team within PMO department, you will be responsible for helping Cvent s business leaders make better, timely, and insightful business decisions through use of data and analytics.
- These decisions span across all business functions including sales, marketing, client services, and technology etc.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Work cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Client Services & other business functions with focus on sales & marketing
- Come-up with data driven strategies for business to increase topline through initiatives such as cross-sell/upsell campaigns, new business leads acceleration & conversion improvements through lead scoring & pipeline creation & forecasting
- Leverage analytical approaches to identify, prioritize, and structure complex data sets to synthesize meaningful insights and recommendations
- Support sales & other support functions track operational KPIs and improve productivity & efficiency
- Work with sales, marketing & client services for analytics-based customer retention & growth strategies
- Work with marketing to implement & measure campaign ROI
- Concurrently support and execute large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and help coordinate strategic discussions with senior leaders
- Work with key internal stakeholder groups to develop cross-functional relationships
- Be responsive to requests of senior leaders across businesses & geographies
What You Need for this Position:
- Ability to independently work with business for requirement elicitation, documentation, project planning & implementation
- In depth knowledge of core business processes such as sales & marketing of a SaaS company
- Hands on with SQL coding, Tableau reporting and Excel
- Comfortable with owning multiple work products simultaneously and coding, while coaching team members with their work products
- Ability to write SQL Procedures using complex queries along with scheduling and maintenance
- Ability to identify the best chart types to represent the data at hand using different data forms, e.g. text, numbers, ranges, images utilizing various visualization charts e.g. box charts, histograms, word cloud, bubble chart, heat maps, tree maps, waterfall etc.
- Expert at bringing data from different data sources into the visualization tool e.g. flat files, internet, database connections, etc.
- Expert knowledge of Tableau scripting, complex calculations, calculated fields, applying cascading filters, grouping, using multiple axis, using parameters, joining, blending, applying top / bottom filters, include/exclude functions
- Ability to publish workbooks on tableau server and understand user management providing different rights to different types of users
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills along with excelling written and oral communication
- Ability to weave a story with data – What is the objective behind the visualization? What does the analysis reveal? What are the different ways the data should be looked at to infer insights?
- QA / QC of daily reports & Tableau dashboard: Analyze & reconcile working data from different sources to identify & root cause variances
- Follow-up with stake holders for issues identified in data reconciliations
- Pro-actively perform routine data checks and create documentation around for SQL Processes and Tableau dashboards
