Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
The Workforce Planning Business Analyst is responsible to:
- Function as an extended member of the leadership team to understand the organization strategy and plans, and translate that to a clear workforce plan needed to achieve
- Develop subject matter expertise on staffing processes, tools, and policies to advise hiring managers
- Provide advice, including scenario analysis to provide a basis for factual decision-making
- Establish high level view of the workforce metrics including an annual headcount plan and a forward forecast. Regularly track and explain variances to plan or spot trends that might adversely impact the organization s strategies or operations
- Manage process for approving new staffing requests, ensuring data is accurate and complete, aligned with the approved workforce plan, and with appropriate governance
- Build relationships with key country talent acquisition and HR focals
- Interface with other functional areas to optimize related processes, such as financial forecast, and proactively resolve concerns
- Inventory the regional and global awards programs for which our workforce may be eligible, and ensure timely review of nominations by the business leadership
- May lead or contribute to programs related to workforce, such as skills growth
- Proactively identify gaps or opportunities to improve the organization s processes and performance.
- May perform other activities as needed to contribute to the organization s success
The successful candidate will contribute their ideas to continuously improve business processes, provide insights and recommendations, may participate in or lead improvement programs, and ultimately ensure leadership makes informed decisions with accurate data.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Bachelors degree in business administration, information systems, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of experience, with basic understanding of IT services
- Consulting experience or prior client management experience highly desired
- Exceptional analytical skills, able to work across large or complex data sets
- Advanced presentation and influencing skills
- Advanced written and verbal communications skills
- High degree of curiosity, with a passion for learning new and diverse things
- Positive, highly motivated, and with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work within a team setting or independently to achieve goals and objectives
- Demonstrate strong, consistent business acumen and general management leadership abilities including accountability
- High discretion
- Ability to handle uncertainty while continuing to drive assigned work
Technical skills
- Master level expertise in Microsoft Excel required
- Advanced use of other Microsoft Online products strongly preferred
