Job Location: Poona
This position will be based in Eaton’s Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (GSC CoE) in Pune. This position is required to manage the effectiveness of supplier master data through data analysis, cleansing of the data and execution of business processes. The analyst will be responsible for leading Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) related activities driven by the corporate (data maintenance, monthly metrics monitoring, and reporting) and complex assignments under minimal supervision. Analyst will impact directly to Eaton’s cash flow metric for DPO. The analyst will also manage and drive responsibilities to Master Data team for the supplier master data maintenance which will be part of tool Trading Partner Hub (TPH), data governance expertise and taking up escalations & issues.
DPO
1. Perform forecasting using the monthly data, reporting and operational metrics tracking
2. Facilitate and lead weekly/ monthly review with team and Eaton Senior Leadership
3. Guide the team and the process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
4. Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports/ dashboards
5. Close coordination with cross-functional operations team to escalate responses from suppliers/ businesses
6. Execute payment term changes in the all ERPs and track variance.
7. Governance: Ensure SCM 36 and SCM39 policies are complied and report variance. Publish Power BI reports on progress.
TPH
1. Work with the team to execute tasks to improve the data quality of supplier master data.
2. Lead – QMS aspect of the process – documentation of the process, business process improvements, implementing and enforcing data access control mechanisms
3. Develop measures of data quality, maintain metrics, and publish weekly/monthly reports to stakeholders
4. Lifecycle management – developing testing documenting implementing and maintaining system changes for supplier master data
5. Subject matter knowledge of financial systems, data architecture in a data warehouse
6. Support the team to review the data and synergize to build a logical record for supplier master data. Establish supplier hierarchy for suppliers.
7. Ability to resolve queries within TAT and with 100% accuracy
8.SQL knowledge to perform TPH activities
Qualifications
Education level required – Post Graduate / MBA / Engineering background – Degree in any discipline
Years and area of experience required- 4-6 years of working experience in manufacturing industries / similar industry will be required where there has been exposure on PO, payterms ,master data maintenance, data analysis
Technical knowledge- Must have- 1. Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), MS Excel advanced functionalities, for analytics
2. Business Communication – Verbal & Written
3. Knowledge on Duns and Bradstreet Hierachy
4. Data visualization, knowledge of database management concepts and basic SQL experience, PowerBI, Qlikview
Technical knowledge- Good to have- 1. Strong system and business acumen
Soft skills- Must have
1. Interpersonal skills – Ability to work in a global environment and with stakeholders located in different regions of the world
