This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  • This position will be part of IT Service Management organization within the Infrastructure Services value stream. Primary function for this role is to support Enterprise IT’s Asset Management function in managing Eaton’s hardware and software inventory and licensing, handling leased asset tracking and billing for North America’s leased laptops, desktops & servers, tickets supporting IT’s PC Regional Deployment Center (RDC) end of lease processes, and carrying out operational activities including Request Fulfillment and Incident Resolution tickets.
  • Manage the capturing of procured IT assets and update in Asset Management system for the Enterprise
  • Supervise the PC Lease cycle for the leased assets and update lease asset data in Asset management system for the Enterprise. Coordinate issues with leasing company, and IT Site IT Support (SIS) site lease coordinators
  • Process chargebacks for PC and Server Lease and software licenses, and answer queries related to chargebacks.
  • Ensure the data health of asset records in the Asset Management System. Manage automated and manual updates of data in Asset Management System
  • Develop reports and/or maintain stats to enable calculation of metrics and data analysis and tracking.
  • Follow up for leased equipment returns and credits with vendors as needed.
  • Accept the queries and requests from the Asset Management mailbox and answer the queries/ process the requests.
  • Understand and resolve any issues related to asset management – asset tracking / lease / licenses / chargeback and procurement
  • Identify system, supplier, users and process issues and drive corrective action to resolution.
  • Assist Manager – Asset Management as needed.

Qualifications


Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree or specific experience in the specialized knowledge listed here.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must have appropriate IT systems knowledge and be able to apply current policies and standards
  • A premium is placed on customer service skills. The ability to communicate with and make comfortable the user community is extremely important.
  • Capability to work with multiple Eaton teams (IT, Finance, business stakeholders), as well as external Vendors.
  • Must have the required understanding of business needs to support the business, rather than merely supporting the technology
  • Must also have demonstrated capability in process definition and documentation
  • ITIL certification is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office applications (particularly Excel, including pivot tables) and ServiceNow.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
