This exciting role offers opportunity to:
A. Ability to navigate through SAP and Oracle ERP/Financials and extract the transactional and GL data to support the multiple audit and compliance requirements within and outside the organization
B. Use of data preparation tools such as SQL/Power Query/Python to give meaning to the raw data before supplementing them to the auditors
C. Provide visualization to the overall data using self-service tools such as excel pivots, Power BI
D. Reconciliation of data extracted from multiple financial systems against one legal entity. Slowly transition the manual reconciliation to an automated reconciliation with the help of technology
E. Participate in building the data hub/data lake solution with guidance to support the data requirements as per Tax
F. Promote and Support self-service RPA such as Power Automate
G. Analyze, prioritize, and organize direct/indirect tax business requirements and reporting needs
H. Organization and governance of evolving tax data requirements while streamlining data request
I. Evaluate existing processes and provide strategic improvements to drive efficiencies of financial data flow
J. Conducts tax member meetings ensuring tax objectives are met during subject matter expert discussions
K. Partner with the tax departments on process improvements
L. Assist with management and coordination of tax technology projects with global internal and external tax department resources
M. Work as an interface between Tax Department and IT for addressing any reports related issues
N. Support ad hoc tax audit across Eaton’s global jurisdiction liaising Tax managers and Eaton’s IT organization
Qualifications
Requirement:
- BE/Btech/MCA or equivalent degree AND/OR Masters in Data Sciences or Analytics
- Minimum 3 years of experience preferably in Finance Domain
- Must – Knowledge of financial and ERP system data processing (SAP and Oracle),
- Must – Experience with tax systems (Corptax, Vertex, Oncesource, Hyperion),
- Preferred – Experience with data analytical and visualiazation tools (Alteryx, Pyramid, Power BI, SQL, Tableau)
- Solid critical thinking/analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities while meeting deadlines
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
