We are looking forward to a Lead Analyst- SAP Data Migration in Eaton’s Information Technology Centre, based in Pune, India. Your essential responsibilities include:
- Work in partnership with business users and ERP Lead Analysts on ERP data needs and the necessary data mapping requirements for at least one functional area.
- Execute the data migration strategy – understanding the source data – the mapping rules – and the upload routines.
- Understand all the data dependencies across the Master Data elements and Transactional Data elements for at least one functional area.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, to critically evaluate the data presented and mapped from the multiple sources, reconcile data conflicts, decompose high-level data into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding.
- Understand how data relates to business requirements and processes – in line with Strategic ERP solutions and Eaton standards.
- Work with the business users to ensure the correct level of checking of migrated data objects occurs through the necessary test and production systems.
- Help new analysts that join the data migration team.
- Learn new modules, database schemas and programming techniques to provide value to our business by enhancing self-knowledge and capability in at least one defined area.
- Lead and direct major data migration program efforts
- Should contribute and execute the data migration strategy
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills
- Will assist and lead project implementations around the globe in terms of migrating transactional and master data management
- Will assist in project implementations around the globe by performing the required development for the projects.
Qualifications
- B.E / BTech / MCA / Equivalent (EITC) / Engineering / Equivalent
- Must have SAP Data Migration of 10-15 years’ across multiple SAP modules
- Strong background in Data Services and Information Steward
- Strong aptitude with SAP Information Steward
- Must have expreince in Data Migration on HANA systems
- Must have End-to-End SAP Implementation Project Experience
- Development skills in SAP
- Must have Knowledge in data migration tools
- Strong Analytical skill for problem solving, demonstrated ability to understand the business problem and to use analytical skills to research and resolve.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret business processes and systems and how these relate to data requirements
- Experience working on projects delivered on time and error-free.
- Experience interfacing with all levels of IT professionals and business customers.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analysis and documentation skills, including prototyping,
- Good communication (English oral and written) and presentation skills
- Very good interpersonal relationship building and team work skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to coach & build other consultants in team.
