Your essential responsibilities include:
- Drives the technical delivery of solutions from initiation through development, validation, go-live and user adoption.
- Collaborate with the Solution Designers ensuring that proposed technical design is in alignment with the Architecture Working Group.
- Partnering across technical teams including Platform, EDM, and support teams to deliver business results and value through projects.
- Experience of Datawarehousing using Informatica 10.4.1 PowerCenter Client tools – Mapping Designer, Repository manager, Workflow Manager/Monitor.
- Expert level understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence principles.
- Extensive experience in developing Stored Procedures, Functions, Views and Triggers, Complex SQL queries using SQL Server,Oracle PL/SQL.
- Good UNIX & Shell scripting knowledge.
- Perform design reviews and code reviews.
- Apply Informatica best practices during development with a strong focus on reusability and better performance. Has experience in Informatica / ETL performance tuning activities.
- Technofunctional understanding of major ERPs – SAP and Oracle prefered from data and analytics prespective
- Regularly interacts with the customer to establish processes and advancing BI capability / usability centered on designing and delivering solutions that balance strategic and customer driven needs.
- Provides guidance / support locally within the region and globally as required to guide and troubleshoot complex problems in a timely manner.
- Regularly communicates and reinforces status, prioritization and timing back to project, program and organizational leaders of critical success measures, issues, and mitigation strategies.
- Responsible for process, standards, governance and performance of the shared structures and technical environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline such as: B.E / BTech / MCA / Equivalent (EITC) or B.S. Comp Sci / Mathematics / Engineering / Equivalent 4+ Yrs of Experience
- 4+ years of relevant industry experience on design, development and implementation of BI application development in Informatica PowerCenter.
- Should have strong experience in developing Stored Procedures, Functions, Views and Triggers, Complex SQL queries using SQL Server,Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience and understanding of Informatica best practices during development with a strong focus on reusability and better performance. Has experience in Informatica / ETL performance tuning activities
- Added advantage if candidate has good understanding of BI tools like OBIEE, Qlikview, Cloudera Platform, Marklogic and Power BI.
- Should be familiar with Data Model and Data Warehouse concepts
- Understanding and exposure to Java, Python, Shell Scripting, Unix environment preferred.”
- Informatica PowerCenter 10.4.1, DataWarehousing/Data modeling Concepts, SQL, Xquery, Unix skills, Python and Java programming.
- Quick Learner, Good comunication skills, Ability to understand complex processes and architecture.
