This role will be based in Waukesha, WI at the headquarters site on Badger Drive and offers a hybrid schedule (two days in office, three days at home).
Position Overview:
The Vendor Managed Inventory Analyst is a key position within the division Supply Chain team supporting the Eaton Intelligent Inventory (EII) program. The Analyst supports the internal product management and sales teams by managing the inventory of key strategic customer accounts that purchase tens of millions of dollars of material from Eaton across a variety of Power Systems’ product lines. This role provides exposure to all sites in the division and works with key leaders in product management, marketing, operations, sales, and supply chain. This is an entry level position that allows you to develop as a Supply Chain professional and gain exposure to a wide variety of functions within Eaton.

In this job function you will:
- Collaborate directly with customers and internal Eaton teams to develop and deploy strategies to help customers get the right product at the right time
- Implement programs and system improvements to improve efficiency, drive down overall costs and improve customer service
- Act as a positive force in the organization, helping drive efforts to provide additional long-term visibility to customer demand.
- Identify and communicate potential delays and/or problems to internal and external customers which may impede customer delivery.
- Take an active role in learning the planning and allocation process, and maintaining ongoing communication with customers, operations, sales, and marketing teams.
- Perform daily out-of-stock and inventory analysis to maximize the customer’s inventory availability and turns performance.
- Analyze data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepare consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to improve supply chain execution.

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business preferred
- One or more years experience in inventory management, materials planning, or supply chain is desired (internship or co-op experience is acceptable)
- Previous experience working for a manufacturing company is preferred

- Reorder point calculation
- Performs advanced statistical forecasting with software
- Assesses issues and uses business knowledge to optimize
- Creates time phased order plans
- Knowledge of master scheduling, MRP
- Understands APICS concepts
- Utilizes Office 365 tools
