The Business Analytics Interns are within the Strategic Analytics group. In partnership with their manager they are responsible for turning the vast amounts of internal and external data into value for the organization. The intern will help in developing full stack data science solutions, from building raw data sets to automation and deployment.
The Interns will work with RDBMS and NoSQL graphs to wrangle operational data, then leverage those data via machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling techniques to implement ongoing production solutions communicate insights for the business.
Pursing an undergrad degree in one of these is preferred: analytics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or natural sciences such as physics or chemistry.
Requirements
- Must be able to start June 5, 2023 (9 week program)
- Will be a Senior in fall 2023
- Able to work hybrid at our Chicago office (600 Chicago Ave)
Responsibilities May Include
- Work closely with a mentor throughout the internship.
- Projects will vary depending on size and scope and will entail fully integrated process, organizational, and information technology components, with the lead of a mentor.
- This role will have some interaction with a broad range of senior, technical and functional managers and subject matter experts throughout the organization.
- Keen curiosity to pursue unanswered questions and quantify unexplored relationships in the data.
- Data visualization abilities and interpretation of complex outputs into straightforward business recommendations.
