We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join the Residential Construction team. ECI’s Residential Construction (RHC) division has the vision to be industry experts, creating the future of home building, selling, and buying. We currently have a range of products to support homebuyers from the beginning of their home search and homebuilders with marketing, selling, building and warranty. You will focus on our MarkSystems product, working cross-functionally across teams to help us develop our strategies, build shared objectives and deliver value to our customers. You’ll work with stakeholders in customer success, development, sales, support, and marketing. You’ll also work closely with our Senior Product Manager to share your learnings and set the strategy for your product and its contribution to the RHC ecosystem. About You
- You have 3+ years of home builder experience
- You have 2+ years of MarkSystems experience
- You can make tradeoffs and show which initiatives provide the greatest value to our customers
- You look for ways for us to leverage what we have, to get the most value out of our opportunities
- You use data to show why you believe what you believe
- You have worked in a remote office with people across time zones
- You enjoy tinkering and discovering how things work.
- You think in terms of the destination but still value the journey to get there.
Pluses About You
- You have Lean Sigma or experience with any process improvement methodology.
- You have any sales or customer management experience
- You have home builder accounting experience
Things You’ll Do
- Decompose problems into new features for MarkSystems.
- Organize and prioritize a product backlog for modules of the ERP
- Help feed teams voice of the customer information they need to understand how we can solve customer problems
- Talk to our customers regularly to build and maintain your domain knowledge
- Help others around you understand the tradeoffs and value of the work that’s being done
- Work with customers and stakeholders to understand the underlying problems that make people ask for changes/features
- Work closely with product designers on solutions by writing specs and creating wireframes
- Develop a sufficient understanding of technical context to help make better, faster decisions, and work closely with engineers on solutions
- Measure and report on the results of your work
