ECS is seeking a Jr. Data Analyst to work Remote .

Job Description:

ECS seeks a Data Analyst (Junior) to support VHA in the analysis and evaluation of service and program information drawn from its Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW). This includes developing and executing SQL queries to extract target information and systematic analysis to identify virtual care episodes and quantify cost and other metrics including measuring outcomes and improvement. The Data Analyst will also be responsible for creating deliverables, including but not limited to briefings and documents that speak to project-related topics, e.g., metrics, measures, data themes and gaps.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). Work is 100% remote.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years of overall professional work experience, ideally in a health care data environment.
  • Experience in the development of quality measures, metrics, and assessments.
  • Experience in analyzing large, complicated population-level data and datasets.
  • Knowledge of government corporate data warehouse (CDW).
  • Expert in dashboard development and public reporting.
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely for various audiences, including project and senior leadership.
  • Ability to develop client-ready PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to facilitate client meetings.
  • Ability to capture clear, accurate meeting minutes.
  • Ability to address tasks proactively and with a sense of urgency.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in analyzing large, complicated population-level data and datasets in a health care environment.
  • 2 yearsโ€™ experience with health care quality and outcomes in a hospital-based system.
  • Understanding of strategy and programmatic development.
  • VA experience.
