    About the Position

    Provides technical support to the Human Resources Division and performs complex data analyzation, management, and manipulation in support of classified and certificated bargaining, staffing, state reporting, and budget development.

    Required Qualifications:
    Education and Experience: A minimum of three years of work experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the job responsibilities.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    Knowledge of payroll accounting procedures.
    Basic knowledge of budget principles.
    Knowledge of spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation software functions and capabilities.
    Excellent skills in written, verbal and non-verbal communication.
    Skilled in complex mathematical concepts.
    Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet inflexible deadlines.
    Ability to apply logic to developing ad hoc report queries.
    Ability to work independently set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines.
    Ability to compile and analyze data and identify areas of concern or discrepancies.
    Ability to perform detailed operations with extreme accuracy and attention to detail.
    Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
    Ability to meet with system users, identify information requirements; format and generate usable data.
    Ability to establish and maintain an effective work relationship with District staff and outside agencies.
    Ability to provide efficient and courteous customer service.
    Ability to speak in a large group setting.
    Ability to quickly learn state requirements regarding certificated endorsement areas and certificated salary schedule placement.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. College course work in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field. Previous experience using Skyward Software a plus.

    Professional-Technical Salary: Level 12, $93,669 per year, exempt

    Benefits: Our benefits package includes Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package for eligible positions. Eligibility for health insurance at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a 3.5 hour per day continuing contract position, or being hired into a non-continuing position that is anticipated to reach 630 hours during the school year. Eligibility for retirement at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a 4 hour per day continuing contract.
