Team overview:
As part of the Experience Measurement team, you’ll play a critical role in creating an unparalleled experience for our clients and the branch teams who serve them. You’ll explore data to deeply understand what our clients and branch teams need and want, then create powerful, data-driven stories that will directly impact the development of strategies, processes, features and technologies. As part of the analytic backbone for the Experience Center of Expertise, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, hone your existing skills and learn new ones. What you’ll do:
As a Marketing Data Analyst II, you’ll play a critical role in helping us deeply understand what our clients, investors and branch teams need to shape the future of the Edward Jones experience. You’ll champion the activation of person-centric data and insights with colleagues across Marketing and our agencies. From tech setup and data collection to the final data story, you’ll be an integral part of creating an outstanding experience for our investors, clients and branch teams, and optimizing marketing efforts.
- Use data to tell the stories of our clients, potential clients and the branch teams who serve them to find areas where we can optimize the Edward Jones Experience.
- Analyze behavioral and financial data to demonstrate return on investment.
- Support the development of innovative solutions to measure and evolve omnichannel marketing performance, such as CRM implementation, website journey optimization and multi-touch attribution.
- Consult with Experience and Marketing teams to understand their business objectives, and develop analytic roadmaps, technical requirements and data taxonomy to support measurement.
- Clean, transform and prepare data for analysis in visualization and reporting tools.
- Create impactful, data-driven stories that answer business questions and inform decision-making for marketing campaigns, product development and experience design.
- Develop and manage business relationships with marketing strategists, product owners, channel managers, content strategists, and Marketing and Technology leaders.
- Proactively identify new business, marketing or efficiency opportunities, propose solutions and drive implementation of solutions with support from leader.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and clearly communicate complex analytical information to non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
What experience you’ll need:
- 3-5 years’ experience in analytics
- Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in business, economics, math, engineering, analytics, marketing or another relevant field preferred (or relevant work experience)
- Advanced degree or certification preferred
- Proficiency with a data manipulation language such as: SQL, R or Python
What could set you apart:
- Experience measuring and optimizing customer journeys, marketing programs & campaigns, marketing automation and personalization.
- Experience with a CRM system, especially Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, and with marketing automation and journey orchestration platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, is a big plus.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as: Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence (PKA Datorama), Google Data Studio, Excel
- Experience with web analytics and optimization tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Optimize, Contentsquare.
- Understanding of data storage platforms such as Snowflake
