Overview
Elevate is recruiting a Business Analyst to join our Contracts Tech Team. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for documenting the requirements to automate and re-engineer contracting processes.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Specifically, you will
- Be responsible for successfully obtaining and documenting the requirement specifications in requirement gathering sessions and decomping the contract template documents.
- Be responsible for successfully documenting the current state diagrams and re-engineering existing business process to develop a future state diagram which clearly details the potential ROI – (partners with IL)
- Be responsible for leading refinement sessions and walkthroughs to review requirements with the development team, QA/UAT, implementation leads, and other key stakeholders.
- Partner with IT, contribute and participate in IT discovery and grooming sessions.
- Participate and contribute in QA and UAT, assist with testing as needed.
- Be a consultant to QA/UAT team members during UAT by reviewing test cases that have failed to determine if they’re defects or change requests.
- Participate and contribute in production releases and checkouts with ECOM team members and business partners.
- Identify opportunities and contribute to improving processes
- Continue to expand knowledge of the vendor application (Apttus), ECOM program and other business areas
- Use team resources to understand processes, e.g, JIRA, TEAMs
- Update Project tasks in Jira or communicate project task updates to ECOM PM
- Identify and develop best-practices, draw conclusions from the information to provide input to critical business decisions.
- Assists the ECOM Project Manager in understanding impacts of issues
- Having tenacity and vigor to be able to do impact assessment or data assessment to bring the optimal approach.
- Being able to be a lead contributor towards critical retrospect aimed at progressive betterment in output of the team along with efficiency of delivery over the course of time.
Experience
- Five years minimum of working as a business analyst
- Technical analysis skill
- Knowledge and proficiency with Visio or any workflow design tool.
- MS Excel and Word – Expert

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology or equivalent experience.
