Encore is an industry leading, full service fire protection company serving all of New England from offices in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Our continued growth and success has created the need for an Entry Level Data Analyst within our Operations team, working from our Middletown, Connecticut office.
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure upcoming and previous services comply with local regulations and the agreement set with the customer
- Maintain the accuracy and completion of customer information and facilitate entry of new customers
- Identify discrepancies in contracted work, invoicing errors and timecards
- Create and run various reports to perform audits and analyze compiled data
- Assist with administrative tasks from operations in peak periods
- Participate and/or manage small to medium size projects to implement new technology offerings to the organization
- Work with high volumes of information from multiple platforms
- Review customer accounts for accuracy and completeness of set-up
- Assist our Operations Department by providing impactful reports on current company performance
Requirements
The Data Analyst role may be entry-level, but we’d encourage anyone who is applying to see this as an entry-point in to an organization that truly values ambition and rewards hard work. - College degree with a minimum 1-year professional office experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and above average proficiency with technology
- Desire to be part of a successful team but able to work independently
- Critical thinking skills to identify trends within the data and reports and/or suggestions for other potentially relevant operating metrics that can be compiled with the available data
- Initiative to delve deeper into data if/when unexpected results are uncovered
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
