The Role:
Entegris is seeking an analytics and reporting summer intern to develop descriptive and predictive data models and reports in the inventory area
In This Role You Will:
Work with a variety of individuals from planners to buyers to commodity managers and suppliers to determine how to best meet our inventory needs most efficiently. Design measures and metrics to track performance. Create several processes to direct how to integrate forward-looking data into our planning and procurement process. Create several dashboards to monitor our inventory performance and help guide purchasing activities
Traits We Believe Make a Strong Candidate:
Strong mathematical/statistics ability. Strong business suite knowledge (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Power BI). Database/SQL/Python/R knowledge is a bonus but not required. Desired Majors: Data Science, Analytics, or Supply Chain.
Your Success Will Be Measured By:
Successful creation of an inventory dashboard to tell what happened in the past and what is likely to happen in the future in an easily-digestible and understood way. Accepting responsibility for tasks and communicating openly throughout the project timeline. Increasing and deepening reach and engagement on our social sites (Microsoft Suite)
