Job Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Claims data analysis and data entry. The candidate will, with direction, analyze professional liability claims notices, status updates and loss run reports and related documents to determine allegations of negligence and wrongful acts, the nature of professional services out of which negligence or wrongful acts arise, defense expenses incurred, indemnity paid, reserves and status of various cases on file. Upon completion of analysis candidate will, with additional guidance, enter information into Claims Administration System, monitor the data, prepare reports for team leaders and coordinate claim administration with clients, insurance company agents and claims personnel. Service active and expired policy files in accordance with established Lemme, values, goals, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Meet quality measurement goals by delivering high quality service to assigned clients and accounts. Endeavor to ensure all file activity meets or exceeds quality procedures with regard to timeliness, accuracy of policies, endorsements, subjectivities, and all other active and expired file correspondence and documentation
- Request loss records from Underwriters and cross check against Lemme and client information
- Record and update claim information on relevant system/spreadsheet
- Monitor claim frequency and severity trends
- Monitor claim thematic trends
- Run period claim reports
- Works with Underwriter representatives to schedule regular meetings with clients as directed
- Prepare claim data and loss records for Lemme deliverables and underwriter requests
- Prepare reports based on claim, loss and premium data for Lemme thought leadership participation in panel discussions and conferences
- Prepare information for Lemme monthly claims meeting (to discuss watch list claims and trends)
- Work with London Brokers to mediate and expedite claims payment issues
- Learn and increase system skills to improve efficiency
- Attend educational seminars, as required
- Assist in training and development of newly hired personnel
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Adobe
- Holds appropriate Broker’s License(s), or willing to secure within a reasonable period

Job Location:
Arlington Heights, IL. Approved for remote working as necessary, our preference is to hire locally, you must be able to commute to the office as needed.
