The Data Engineer will collaborate closely with other roles like Data Architects, Solution architects, Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Developers, Product Managers , Users, and Key partners

What you will do

• Develop in a structured, performant manner, data requirements and activities requested by use cases, enhancing data quality and demonstrating the solution architecture
• Connect securely to data sources, understand its limitations and data assets, and ingest data from it to our main storage components
• Store and maintain metadata, enhancing visibility and the execution of idempotent routines
• Understand and implement data architecture design
• Give feedback and validate feasibility of data architecture design
• Develop applications and components using design patterns and standard methodologies, ensuring an extensible and maintainable codebase
• Use Azure/AWS and cloud-native components for optimal execution of the data processing activities
• Collaborate closely with use cases to gather and develop feature requirements and the availability of data assets
• Ensure SLA’s in case of failure and assist quickly with hotfix and bugfix development as part of agile WoW

You will bring

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Hands-on development experience in Data Product / Data Warehouse Solutions
• Data Ingestion, Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Modelling, and Design skills and experience
• Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
• Knowledge-sharing and Collaboration Skills
• Presenting & Communicating Information

You should have the experience working

• In Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Solutions
• as a Data / Analytic Engineer in DW / BI and BigData space
• in the Delivery of Analytics solutions ( Agile WoW is preferred)
• in Cloud ( AWS /Azure ) / SAP HANA / DW Tools.

You should have the passion to

• Develop products/frameworks in Data / ML / AI space.
• Own the topic development pertaining to standard methodology
• Research and read on what is happening in the industry (Azure/AWS/ GCP/Data /Analytics etc) to apply those in Data and Analytics products.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: Batchelor of Engineer / Masters in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum years of relevant experience: 5+ years in IT, Data Warehouse / BI / Data Product Development / Analytics / Solution development on Cloud platform.
• Analytical background and familiarity with evolving technology landscape such as Cloud/ Snowflake / BigData / Containerization /BI Reporting Tools /SAP HANA is an added advantage
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Apache Airflow, Spark, Python, Bigdata, Snowflake
• Last 3+ years experience in Spark, Python , Databricks, Azure , AWS , Snowflake development
• Experience with Azure / AWS PaaS and IaaS offerings
• Experience working for Machine Learning Solutions is a plus
• Exposure to a good number of technologies listed here if not all ( Microsoft Azure, Synapse , AWS, Kubernetes, Dockers, Python, Databricks , Spark, Hive, Kafka, Informatica, Talend, Tableau, Power BI, , Oracle, MS-SQL Server, Mongo DB, Teradata, PostgreSQL, Data Virtualization tool Denodo and Microservices architecture, R, Reinforcement Learning, ML Regression algorithms, ML Classification algorithms, ML Clustering Algorithms, Deep learning CNN Algorithms,)
