Position Summary
Drives transformational change that may involve complex new business or technical processes, development and introduction of new vendor partners or providers, or introduction of new technology. Implement changes that will impact a significant number of stakeholders across the organization and will present challenges in complexity or deadlines. May perform duties in one or more of the following disciplines: Business Data Business Intelligence Security Quality User Experience Production Control.
This opportunity is for a Senior IT Analyst and will focus on The new business area that is part of ERIE’s technology portfolio is intended to build strategies and identify priorities for the work the division does. This includes defining how IT works and how infrastructure products are delivered in support of the operation of the company. The role below is an exciting opportunity to join a team that is working hard to impact ERIE’s future in new ways.
This role will provide insight and analysis into technology cloud utilization opportunities via the development of recommendations to optimize business results.
Responsible for assisting in strategy development, executing business research, and initial planning for maturing capabilities across Cloud platforms (saas, paas, iaas).
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Experience defining clear measurable problem statements using process and data analysis is required.
- Experience executing business research activities like creating flow diagrams, capability maturity maps, and/or dashboards is preferred.
- Experience facilitating workshops to understand customer and stakeholder needs is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
Analyzes the highest level and most complex business, technical process, system and/or technical problems.
Conducts research, generates comparisons, draws conclusions, makes recommendations and validates solutions to effect transformational change.
Ensures actions are aligned to enterprise strategies; provides insight to assist in business or technical direction.
Collaborates across multiple teams to drive analysis management processes (i.e. business, quality, experience, system). May provide practice, discipline and technical guidance; develops and maintains relationships with other practice owners and discipline leads in order to ensure consistency.
Effectively communicates with customers, team members or other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
Participates in the execution and implementation of solutions.
May serve as a discipline lead and participate in steering committees.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, Business or related field, plus five years’ related experience, or;
Associate’s degree in a technical field, plus seven years’ related experience, or;
High School Diploma plus nine years’ related experience
