Role Overview
You will use analysis and design techniques to solve business problems using HR technologies. You will serve as a change agent who identifies the organizational improvements needed, designs systems to implement those changes, and trains and motivates others to use the systems.
In this role, you would be accountable for:
- Optimizing the performance of our HR systems, integrating new software, gathering data, and making recommendations based on performance metrics
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to develop technology solutions that help to streamline and automate (new) HR processes
- Consulting with HR leaders and other departments to determine HRIS needs
- Performing statistical analysis on gathered HRIS data and running queries
- Documenting processes, identifying HR concerns, and compiling data analysis reports
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HR staff and organizational leadership to determine the short and long-term HRIS objectives; develop a plan to modify or replace HRIS applications, modules, and systems to meet those objectives
- Assess current system and utilization; identify and recommend improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of the HRIS
- Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for HR and business leaders to follow
- Collaborates with other analysts and HRIS staff to plan, modify, and customize the HRIS and to test new applications and features
- Serve as the go-to subject matter expert for HR technologies across the organization
Basic Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in HR management, business administration, computer science, information systems, or similar
- 3+ years’ experience as an HRIS analyst, systems analyst, or similar role
- Exceptional ability to gather and interpret data, as well as improve HRIS processes
- Proficiency in database management and security, as well as running SQL queries
- Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in HRIS Analysis
- Prior experience developing technical training materials, guides, and documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in systems analysis and design, data analytics or similar experience
- Prior experience with facilitating change management or business transformation, globally
- Prior experience drafting reports, building dashboards, and presenting findings and recommendations to the HR leaders and other company leaders
- Prior experience interfacing with project team members and vendors directly
