Job description
Business Analysts/Senior Business Analysts will join the Corporate and Professional Services business unit at Evalueserve, supporting client staff in several critical research areas such as follows:
• Comparable company valuation: trading and transaction multiples, computation of Enterprise Value etc.
• Preparation of detailed pitch books, M&A opportunity identification (with rational), deal analysis, valuation etc.
• Should be proficient in trading comps screening, transaction screening, and buyer and target screening, across sectors
• Preparation of marketing material such company profiles, newsletters etc.
• Analyzing and synthesizing financial data collected using on-line and other data sources such as Thomson one banker, Capital IQ, Reuters, Bloomberg etc. to present actionable insights for M&A etc.
• Conducting industry research and providing insightful deliverables
• Handling ad hoc research requests as per client requirements
• Should have supported or worked with an investment bank (desirable).
Skill Set Required
- Strong finance knowledge / skills
- Knowledge of database tools Thomson One Banker, Capital IQ, Reuters, Bloomberg and other financial data systems
- Eye for details and ability to identify and solve issues effectively on time
- Good MS Office Skills • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner
- Ability to practice attentive and active listening skills
- Ability to identify proactive ways to contribute to firm’s goals & mission
- Challenging current thinking by implementing new ways of working.
Education and experience
• Master’s degree with a major in Finance from a reputed institute with 2-5 years of experience in similar profile.
