Job Location: Gurgaon
The Manager, Real-World Data, would be responsible for leading a team of Analyst/ Sr. Analysts in managing Clarivate RWD client deliveries and product feature enhancements, ensuring customer delight.
Role and Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing and leading a small team (<4 analysts) of the RWD delivery execution team, collaborating with other segments (project management and client engagement) to oversee, plan, and manage the timely delivery of data products

Responsible for day-to-day leadership of a portfolio of projects (3-4 at any given time), managing resource planning, timeline estimation, developing analysis plan, and driving the execution by guiding and mentoring analysts, project delivery, and QC

To act as a healthcare real-world data (RWD) subject matter expert to the technology teams, providing consultation on:

Data integration, mining, curation, and automation efforts

Implementation of ETL methodologies

Client data delivery

Designing, developing, and implementing a standard set of data quality assessment checks that communicate the quality of DRG’s data products to internal and external parties

Identify unexpected trends and patterns to identify possible anomalies and collaborate closely with different teams to do root cause analysis and solve data-related issues

Work closely with the engineering team to provide analytical guidance and contribute to the codebase to build prototypes and models for new RWD-driven product development.

Understand, define, and solve healthcare-specific problems and be able to analyze, visualize, interpret, and contextualize results for and with clients

Work closely with the domain experts to translate complex proprietary business rules, and logic to scalable and optimal data process flows to enrich the RWD data product

Collaborate with various teams (e.g., RWD domain experts, software developers, data analysts, and data scientists) on data initiatives and ensure optimal data delivery
Skills and Qualifications:
-
7+ years of experience in an RWD analytics or RWD ETL domain, with a master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or data science

Prior experience in managing a small team of analysts responsible for client delivery

Working knowledge of patient-level healthcare claims data (e.g., insurance claims, remittance data, electronic health records, etc.)

Good understanding of US healthcare data and coding standards

Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools (good to have, but not mandatory)
-
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
-
Experience building and maintaining data pipeline workflows in a big data environment
-
Solid background and experience working with relational databases (such as Oracle, SQL Server, Redshift, and Snowflake) and strong working knowledge of SQL.

Healthcare data experience: Demonstrated background in using healthcare data in a project setting. Relevant data types include insurance claims data (diagnoses, procedures, physician/hospital data) or electronic health records (free-text analysis, lab results).

Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
About the Team

Apply a mix of quantitative problem-solving skills and qualitative research to solve the questions of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

Collaborate with various teams (e.g., RWD domain experts, software developers, data analysts, and data scientists) on data initiatives and ensure optimal data delivery to clients.

Perform aggregation and processing of large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.

Identify unexpected trends and patterns to identify possible anomalies and collaborate closely with different teams to do root cause analysis and solve data-related issues.

Work closely with the engineering team to provide analytical guidance and contribute to the codebase to build prototypes and models for new RWD driven product development.
Hours of Work
The team is based out of Bangalore, The offices are currently open but there is no compulsion to work from office right now. We are working from home and can continue to work from home until further notice.
